The desire to speed up the process of obtaining a passport usually appears among citizens on the eve of a vacation. However, this can be done only in connection with extraordinary circumstances requiring its prompt registration. Where and with what documents to apply in this regard?
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare all the documents that are necessary for obtaining a passport. The package of documents usually includes:
- a certified copy of all significant pages of the civil passport;
- old passport (if any);
- 2 color photos 3, 5 × 4, 5 cm;
- certificate from the place of work about income and position;
- military ID;
- certificate from the military registration and enlistment office (for young people under 27 years old);
- birth certificates of children (if you want information about children to be indicated in your passport);
- INN and SNILS.
Step 2
Make electronic copies of all documents in order to apply for a passport on the website https://www.gosuslugi.ru. Register on this portal, provide all the necessary information (SNILS and TIN numbers, email address and phone number). Within 2 weeks you should receive a letter at the Russian Post with the activation code for your "Personal Cabinet" account.
Step 3
Go to the website of the local branch of the Federal Migration Service and find out the details of the account for paying the state duty. Enter the indicated amount to the account in any of the branches of Sberbank and save the receipt.
Step 4
After receiving a letter with a code to activate your account, enter the "Personal Account", select the "Obtaining a Passport" tab (in the "Citizenship, Registration, Visas" category). Fill out the application form, attach electronic copies of documents and photographs to it and send it for consideration. Within 24 hours, a notification should be sent to your e-mail address. And within a month - a message that the passport is already in the FMS.
Step 5
You can also contact the FMS directly by submitting all documents and filling out a questionnaire. Only in case of documentary confirmation of extraordinary circumstances (death or serious illness of a close relative, emergency operation, etc.) can you speed up the registration of a passport. So do not fall for the bait of companies offering accelerated registration of a passport without such certificates for a standard package of documents. The activities of such companies are in conflict with the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, so you can also be among those responsible for this crime.
