The basis of longevity is a system that includes a balanced diet, physical activity, the ability to rest and enjoy life, a good ecology. Japanese people eat a large amount of rice, and a significant part of the diet is rice unrefined, containing the maximum amount of nutrients. Soy and its derivatives (soy sauce, miso soup, tofu bean curd, small semi-fermented soybean natto) are on the second place in the menu of the Japanese. Soy is a complete source of protein and digestive enzymes. Seafood, seaweed, seasonal vegetables and green tea are also a must in the Japanese diet. The Japanese are very sensitive to the cultivation and consumption of tea. On average, a person drinks 1-1.5 liters of this healthy drink per day. The Japanese eat meat much less than Europeans and prefer pork. Thanks to such a diet, overweight people are very rare among the country's residents. The diligence of this nation and the competent policy of the country's leadership led to incredible economic growth, which, accordingly, led to an increase in real incomes of the population. The economic factor also added years to life expectancy, as it helped people feel joy, made their daily work easier and freed up time for rest and enjoyment of life. Moreover, the Japanese prefer healthy pleasures: physical activity, visits to health centers, walks in numerous beautiful parks or wildlife, and, of course, shopping. Actively moving forward technical progress and its innovations stimulate the constant development of intelligence, even among those who are only users. And this also serves to increase life expectancy. Japanese are very careful about the environment and, despite the highest industrial activity, the environment in the country is practically not polluted. This became possible thanks to a set of legislative measures that have been adopted and are strictly observed since the 70s of the last century. Therefore, the atmosphere, water, agriculture - all supply the population with high-quality living resources. The sphere of pharmacology and health care makes a significant contribution to longevity. The country is constantly searching and developing new medicines, useful biological additives to food. And medical institutions are equipped with the latest equipment and staffed by qualified personnel.
