It is necessary to think about a future pension even at a working age. Then you will be sure that you have provided yourself with a dignified old age. But first you need to at least imagine how much your employer has already transferred to the state for the formation of your future pension. How do you know how much money is already in your account with the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation?

It is necessary

  • - the last letter from the pension fund;
  • - passport;
  • - insurance certificate.

Instructions

Step 1

Find the latest information letter that the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation (PF RF) sent you. These letters are sent annually to all citizens who have already started their work experience, but have not yet retired. You should receive a notice from your local post office where you should pick up the letters you are entitled to.

Step 2

If letters from the Pension Fund do not come to you, contact the branch of the fund at your place of residence. A list of them can be found on the official website of the foundation. Come to the department during office hours. Show the employee your passport and certificate of pension insurance and inform that you would like to receive letters notifying you of the status of your retirement account. After that, starting next year, you will begin to receive such information letters at the address that you indicate as a place of residence.

Step 3

After receiving the letter, you should be able to read it correctly. It contains several important numbers. First, check if all your data is correct in the notification letter. At the top of the letter should be your last name, first name and patronymic, as well as the number of your personal account on which the pension is being accumulated. This number must match the one indicated on your pension insurance certificate.

Step 4

Find information about the deductions for the past year with the letter. They are divided into two parts - the funded and the insurance part of the pension. The first part of the contributions is indicated in paragraph 3 of the notification (in the second - if you are an individual entrepreneur), and the second - at the end of the letter, in paragraph 15. Adding them, you will receive your general insurance pension contributions for the last year.

Step 5

You can find out your pension contributions for previous years from paragraph 4 (funded part of the pension), which is called "The total amount of pension contributions transferred to the management of the management company", and from paragraph 16 (insurance part of the pension). If you add up the data in paragraphs 4, 15, and 16, you get the total pension contributions you have made in all your years of work. The larger they are, the higher your future pension will be.
