In order to track a parcel that was exported from Germany to your country, first of all, you need to find out the international tracking number, which must be assigned to the parcel. The parcel identification number will be sent to your e-mail immediately after the shipment is sent. After a few days, you can track the parcel using the tracking number on the website of the German postal service (DHL).

Instructions

Step 1

Find out the unique code of your parcel. To track postal shipments from Germany, there is a website of the state postal service, which notifies the addressee of the shipment of the goods by e-mail. Knowing the cargo number will help you track your package.

Step 2

Convert the parcel code into a unique tracking number. To do this, use the DHL Track and Trace website. In the active field in the form (the only field of the form), enter the parcel code and click the search button, which is located next to the active field. So, if the parcel has already passed the export operation, then an inscription with your thirteen-digit code will appear in a new window.

Step 3

Find out about the location of your parcel using the website of the German State Service. Enter your data in a special form for searching for shipments, which consists of two active fields. In the upper field - a unique tracking number, in the lower - the date of departure of the cargo in the required format.

Step 4

Click on the "Finden" button, which is located immediately next to the active field, in which you enter data on the date of dispatch of your cargo. After this operation is completed, information will be indicated in a new window that appears, thanks to which you can find out the location of your cargo.

Step 5

Calculate the date of arrival of the parcel. To do this, use the information you received after your request on the DHL website. Add 1-3 business days to the date your parcel is exported to the international shipping center.

Step 6

Track the parcel already in your country. This requires at least seven days after the export operation. The necessary information will be available on the website of the country's national post.
