A popular theater and film actor - Andrei Ilyin - is currently at the peak of his career. Coming from a simple provincial family, with his remarkable talent and dedication, he was able to independently make his way to the heights of the cultural glory of our Fatherland.

Biography and filmography of Andrei Ilyin

On July 18, 1960, in Gorky (Nizhny Novgorod), the future holder of the Order of Friendship and a member of the "Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation" was born. Despite the fact that Andrei's parents had nothing to do with the world of art and culture (his father was a driver, and his mother was a caretaker at a vocational school), the boy from a young age had a special passion for literature and acting, which was expressed in his active participation in the life of a school drama circle.

From school at the age of fifteen, Ilyin moved to the Gorky Theater School, which he successfully graduated in 1979. Distributed to the Riga Russian Drama Theater under the direction of Arkady Katz, he plays the roles of children's characters in his debut performances. Andrey's first serious theatrical work was the role of Khlestakov in The Inspector General. And then, as from a cornucopia, important stage images fell: Treplev in The Seagull, Aleksey Ivanovich in The Gambler, and even Hamlet himself, who at all times was considered the standard of stage skill.

In this theater, Andrei Ilyin worked for ten years, replacing him in 1989 on the stage of the Mossovet Theater, where he was a member of the acting troupe until 2000. It was in the dashing "nineties" - the period of creative oblivion - that he combined the scene with a cab in order to simply survive. During this period, theater-goers could see Ilyin in the performances: "My Poor Marat", "Dear Friend", "The Importance of Being Serious" and others.

After the end of the "troubled" time, the creative talent of Andrei Epifanovich was already noted in numerous theatrical projects on the stages of the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov and Sergei Bezrukiy's theater, in projects of the theatrical agencies Art-Partner XXI and LA THEATER.

Andrei Ilyin made his film debut back in 1980 with the short film Three Lemons for Anyone. And then until the very end of the "eighties" his filmography was replenished only with episodic roles. But from the moment of his participation in the film project "Constellation Kozlotura", where he got the first serious film work, Ilyin has already become a really popular film actor. Currently, the number of roles he played on the set exceeds a hundred. Among the most successful films, the following should be highlighted: "Anchor, another anchor!" (1992), "Split" (1993), "Kamenskaya" (1999-2011), "Moscow Saga" (2004), "Adjutants of Love" (2005), "Pushkin. The Last Duel”(2006),“Thieves”(2008),“The Brothers Karamazov”(2009),“Wolf Messing: Who Seen Through Time”(2009),“Lecturer”(2011),“Without Witnesses”(2012),“Vasilisa”(2014),“Serebryany Bor”(2017),“Native People”(2018).

Personal life of the actor

Behind the shoulders of the family life of Andrei Epifanovich Ilyin today there are already several marriages. The first wife of the artist was Lyudmila Voroshilova - associate professor of the Department of Acting at the Shchukin School. This family union lasted for nine years, after which it broke up due to the cooling of the spouses in relation to each other.

And then there were civil relations with Alexandra Tabakova (daughter of the legendary Oleg Tabakov), which Andrei himself describes as “the tyranny of a princess”, because for her it was the financial aspect that was decisive, while a real actor cannot exist without a stage, regardless of the material component of art. Naturally, the result of this not very harmonious partnership was a rupture.

The next marriage, quite a long time after that, was the marriage with the swimming coach Olga. Here, as if everything was fine, but just before the celebration of the forty-fifth anniversary of our hero's Christmas, he suddenly filed for divorce.

The last passion of Andrei Ilyin was television editor Inga Rutkevich, who in 2013 gave him a son Tikhon. The father is very kind to his child, values him very much and will certainly pamper him.
