Recent government actions aimed at providing material support for military personnel and their families have made military service very attractive. Employees of the RF Armed Forces receive good salaries and various benefits, are provided with service housing, and after a certain period of service they can buy their own apartment on preferential terms. Therefore, contract service in the army is becoming a very popular way of employment.

- - good health;
- - knowledge of the state language (Russian);
- - completed higher or secondary specialized education;
- - a specialty related to the military.
Instructions
Step 1
Contact the department of the military commissariat where you are registered with a statement about your desire to conclude a contract. The application is submitted in the prescribed form. It must indicate:
- surname, name and patronymic;
- date of birth;
- place of residence;
- the name of the federal executive body with which you want to conclude a contract;
- the estimated term for the conclusion of the contract.
Step 2
Along with the application, present a document proving your identity, for citizens of the Russian Federation - a passport.
Step 3
Please attach your free-form autobiography to your application. Don't go into too much detail. An autobiography should be clear, indicating the main stages of your life: born, studied, married, and so on.
Step 4
Please attach certified copies of the following documents to your application:
- employment history;
- documents confirming professional or any other education;
- certificate of marriage and birth of children.
Step 5
After submitting the documents, you will pass the selection, which includes a physical fitness check, a medical examination and psychological tests. Based on the selection criteria, the commission will develop recommendations about your purpose.
Step 6
If you successfully pass the selection, you will be sent to the training center for professional training. In this case, you will undergo retraining in the military charter specialty (VUS). After completing the training, candidates take an exam and, upon successful delivery, are sent to a military unit.
Step 7
The higher the level of preparedness and education, the higher will be the position for which you can apply. Graduates of universities that have a military department come to serve under contract immediately with the rank of lieutenant. If your university did not have a department, you will receive an officer's rank after training.
Step 8
Upon arrival at your duty station, you will be awarded a fixed term contract with an annual certification. The accepted term for the conclusion of the contract is three years.
