When getting a job, a person thinks about the fact that the information that he worked for a certain time in any place was entered in his work book. In view of this, the question arises of how to correctly draw up a work book.
Today, entrepreneurs who are not individuals can keep a work book. Moreover, an entry in the work book must be made for each employee who has worked for him for no more than five days. The situation is simpler with those cases when a person first gets a job in a given enterprise. In this case, the entrepreneur must ensure that the employee is issued a work book on a general basis. And what about those who have been working for a long time, and no entries in the work book were kept. In this case, it is necessary to indicate the full name of the organization in the labor book or indicate the TIN and registration number, if it is an individual entrepreneur. Even if the employee was hired a long time ago, the actual date must be indicated. For example, if a person has been working for you since 2000-10-01, you must specify this particular date, since this affects the interests of the employee. If the employee does not provide, for whatever reason, his old work book, there is no need to start another one, since he still has the old work book. This is an administrative violation, for the commission of which a fine is imposed.
In this case, it is better to draw up an act indicating that you wished to issue a work book in accordance with all the rules, but could not do this, due to the fact that the book was not provided. The act must be signed by witnesses. However, most often employees try to provide their work book, as it is in their own interests. If an employee works for an entrepreneur for the first time, it is necessary for him to draw up a work book and issue it.
It is necessary to remember about:
1. Make sure that your company has the necessary supply of work record forms.
2. In the entries of the work book, the name of the enterprise or the registration number of the individual entrepreneur must be present.
3. Make sure that the employer's registration number is also indicated in the employment agreement.
4. Indicate the actual date when the person started working for you.
5. Follow the rules for calculating the length of service of an employee.
