Not all fans and fans are ready to accept and understand the simple truth - their idols are the same people as everyone around them. At the same time, ordinary people show an increased interest in the private life of actors. Alexander Dick spent his entire adult life in the theater, which became his home.
Childhood and youth
A photogenic appearance and good memory will not prevent a person who wants to become a professional actor. He also requires an agreeable character and the ability to find compromise solutions in conflict situations. Of course, he needs to have a talent for reincarnation. Alexander Yakovlevich Dick was born on December 1, 1949 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived in the city of Dushanbe. My father worked as a foreman in a construction organization. Mother served as an administrator in the Russian drama theater.
In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it often happened that the mother took the boy with her to the theater. Little Sasha knew all the stairs and nooks and crannies in the old and large building. During the day, he met with ordinary people who treated him to sweets and gingerbread. In the evenings, the future actor watched the events taking place on the stage. In this way, Alexander was introduced to creativity and theatrical life. When a drama studio was opened at the theater, he was one of the first to express a desire to study in it. Boys and girls came to the studio not only from city schools, but also from the nearest rural settlements.
Dick liked the theatrical setting. In the performances, which were staged by the forces of novice actors, he played any roles that he got. The work with young people in the studio was properly staged. Boys and girls learned the basics of choreography and mastered musical literacy. Natural plasticity and excellent coordination of movements distinguished Dick from the members of the studio. In the course of the studies, it turned out that Alexander has a decent voice and sings well. As practice has shown, Dick is one of many young people who chose the profession of an actor.
The fact is that one famous actor from Moscow saw Alexander on the stage. And not only saw, but also convinced the young man to devote his life to the theater. After graduating from school, Dick came to the capital of the Soviet Union to receive a specialized education. He brilliantly passed all the tests and entered the famous Moscow Art Theater School. Within the framework of the existing tradition, students were attracted to participate in theater performances. Directors from other theaters and film studios specially came to such performances in order to "look after" future performers for themselves.
On the theatrical stage
In 1970, Alexander Dick received his diploma and entered the service at the Moscow Art Theater. It is important to note that at that time the theatrical community of the capital was going through a stage of renewal and transformation. Innovative directors Oleg Efremov and Tatiana Doronina formed a new concept of theatrical art. The situation for the young actor was not very pleasant. Efremov did not see in him the potential for playing the main roles. But Doronina invited Dick to the Gorky Moscow Art Theater, where she took the position of chief director.
The theater's repertoire was formed on the basis of the works of the classics of world and Russian literature. This means that in the past, inimitable luminaries of the stage shone in performances. Alexander had to compete in absentia with the actors whose portraits adorned the walls of the theater. In Alexander Ostrovsky's play "Enough for any wise man," he presented Glumov's persona as convincingly as he did sixty years ago. There are many similar examples and comparisons.
With the next "change of course" Alexander how many years performed on the stage of the theater "Sphere". In the early 90s he was invited to serve in the troupe of the theater of the Russian Army. The team met the "newcomer" calmly. Colleagues saw him as a companion rather than a competitor. Here, on the stage, as before, they presented "Masquerade", "Wolves and Sheep", "At the Bottom". Dick was not only "in the subject", but also in good shape. He demonstrated the highest performance technique. Thanks to this, Alexander Yakovlevich was regularly invited to teach.
The acting career of Alexander Dick was developing successfully. In parallel with his work in the theater, he managed to act in films. The first picture in which both viewers and critics noticed him was called "Dangerous Turn." Then new invitations followed. Dick has conscientiously worked in the films "Father Sergius", "The Ring from Amsterdam", "Death on Rise".
It is important to note that the actor portrayed both villains and good people with equal credibility on the screen. Dick convincingly played his characters in the comedy "One in a Million" and in the detective story "Your fingers smell of incense." He was also invited by the series "Turkish March".
Quirks of personal life
A public person always has a private life in sight. This is the law of society. Alexander Dick entered into a marriage as a young man. The future husband and wife served in the same theater. It was in the working environment that the feelings of a young man and a mature woman arose. Kunna Ignatova was fifteen years older than her husband. This distance did not serve as an obstacle to marriage registration.
It is interesting to note that from a young age Alexander was attracted by girls and women older than him. In men, this psychological feature is not so rare. In this case, family life, as they say, did not work out. The spouses often quarreled and colleagues observed it. Künnah had a son from his first marriage, with whom Dick did not have a relationship.
In 1988, the wife died. After a while, Alexander married a second time. He always speaks positively of Künn and looks after her grave.
