Start
The place of her birth is the city of Lipetsk, the date is December 5, 1962. After graduating from GITIS (master-teachers - I. I. Sudakova and L. N. Knyazeva) he served in Moscow, in the Pushkin Theater for a little over 10 years.
Career in Russia
On the stage of the theater, Samoilova was involved in a dozen performances, there were three significant roles: Tamara in V. Merezhko's "Scream", Lyubov in "People's Malachia" by A. Kulish and Eurydice in "At the very end of the night" by Jean Anuy.
There were several episodic roles: Alyonushka in "The Scarlet Flower, Senora Alba in" One of the Last Evenings of the Carnival "and others.
In total, 9 films were also released with the participation of Samoilova. She starred in two films ("The Grooms" and "Next to You"), the rest of the roles were secondary. But she was able to be remembered even in a tiny episode of a passer-by girl in the movie "Where is the nofelet."
Galina realized her talent as a director in two television plays - "Arcturus the Hound Dog" and "Brooks Where Trout Splashes". She also took an active part in the recordings of radio shows.
After the actress tied her fate with Vadim Ledogorov, she gave up filming and devoted herself entirely to her family and little son - Nikita, who was born in 1991.
Emigration
In the mid-90s, the family decides to change their permanent place of residence - and leaves for Auckland (New Zealand). In the new country, Samoilova in every possible way promotes Russian culture and theater, in particular. Her creativity in a foreign country is diverse.
Helps her husband in preparation, and also takes part in a program dedicated to A. S. Pushkin. Together they work on Russian radio with the poetic name "Yaroslavna". In addition, the Russian Youth Center was established on her initiative.
Together they also organized a studio for children, their theater "Fantasy" is known to the entire Russian population of Auckland.
Galina was also one of the organizers of the Days of Russian Cinema. It takes a lot of effort from her to publish the cultural Russian bulletin "Rodnik".
There were more than 20 performances with the participation of the actress, she directed several productions.
A family
Galina Samoilova's husband is also an actor, as mentioned above, the creative and family tandem is doing a lot to popularize Russian art in a new country for them. Their second child, also a son, was born here. Despite the heavy workload, the actress devotes most of her time to children and family.
