Alexander Viktorovich Babenko was born on December 26, 1975 in a family of provincial actors. Parents lived in the famous city of Odessa. My father worked as a production director in one of the local theaters. His mother served as an actress next to him. The child grew and developed in a creative environment. According to his relatives, he began to sing before he learned to speak. As soon as I learned to walk, I began to show interest in dancing.
Not to say that the boy grew up as a child prodigy, but he studied well at school. At the same time, I completed my homework in five minutes, and was the first in class to do the tests. In parallel with his studies, he studied at the ballet school. Throughout the entire period of study, he always participated in amateur art shows. When Alexander was awarded a certificate of maturity, he was already ready to enter the Chisinau School of Music and Choreography.
Professional activity
Having received a specialized education, Babenko returned to his hometown and entered the service at the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater. From the first days, the young actor was introduced to the main cast of the troupe. He danced leading roles in The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty and The Bat. At some point, the young and creative actor became bored and cramped within the framework of the classical canons. Alexander, in search of new forms and sensations, moved to the Mikhail Vodyanoy Musical Comedy Theater.
Being engaged in creativity Babenko thought little about a career. He was looking for an opportunity for self-expression. These searches led him to the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Odessa Military District. In 1996, Alexander was invited to the troupe of the Novouralsk Operetta Theater. A year later, he became a laureate of the international competition of operetta artists, which was held in Moscow. Here, the producers of the capital's center drew attention to him and invited him to participate in the cult musical Metro. After that, the actor settled in the capital.
Achievements and personal life
Performing at any stage, Babenko demonstrated high performance technique and completely devoted himself to the dance or the vocal part. In 1999 he won the Audience Award at the Festival of Choreographic Art in Barnaul. For the best performance of the title role in the musical "Mowgli", the actor received the "Golden Mask" award.
Everything is known about the personal life of Alexander Babenko. Today he is legally married. Husband and wife are engaged in the same business. There are no children in the house yet.
