Dmitry Pevtsov is one of the most popular actors in the television, film industry and theater scene.
Sports biography
Dmitry Pevtsov was born in the city of Moscow, in a family of athletes. His father, Anatoly Ivanovich, coached modern pentathlon athletes for thirty years. For his services, he received the title of honorary coach of the Soviet Union and master of sports. Dmitry's mother, Noemi Semyonovna, was engaged in professional equestrian sports.
Dmitry also passed on his sports character. Since childhood, he studied various types of martial arts. According to the memoirs of Pevtsov himself, he dreamed of a long voyage, where he, as the captain of a ship, would travel the world. Sports passion and love of risk greatly influenced Dmitry, which made it easy for him to master figure skating, alpine skiing and swimming.
At this time, the acting art did not attract Dmitry. He planned to follow in the footsteps of the family and make a career in sports, all that remained was to enter a pedagogical educational institution, in the direction of physical education. The plans did not come true, and young Dmitry began to work at the plant as a milling machine operator, without having received a coaching education.
Sport fascinated Dmitry again, this time racing sport turned out to be attractive. He took part in competitions as a full-fledged member of racing teams.
Later, Singers, along with a friend, submitted documents to the Institute of Theater Arts. It was unexpected when Dmitry was admitted to an educational institution of this kind, but his friend failed the entrance exam.
Theatrical performances and film actor career
At the end of GITIS, Pevtsov was sent to the acting troupe on Taganka. Such stars as Vladimir Vysotsky, Valery Zolotukhin played in this theater. Working in the theater field, Dmitry successfully showed his acting skills on stage.
Since 1986, a creative life began in the art of cinema. At first, overwhelming success was not expected, only over time he got, really, loud debuts, in such films as "Nicknamed the Beast" and "Mother", for the role in which Dmitry received an award at the festival in the nomination for a supporting role.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, Dmitry changed the theater. By invitation, he now works at the famous State Theater of the Lenin Komsomol.
Theatrical creativity developed successfully. The singers have played in many performances and plays, such as Shakespeare's Hamlet, Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, the rock opera Juno and Avos, and Crazy Day or Figaro's Marriage, where he received vivid images.
In addition to his spectacular appearance, the actor had a well-trained vocal voice, which was in demand among directors of musical performances. I had a chance to participate in the creation of the musical "Metro" and play in "Eastwick Witches", in the Russian interpretation.
The actor received the greatest popularity by acting in television films of domestic production, such as the legendary “Gangster Petersburg”. There were also significant works in the melodrama "Stop on Demand" and the spy detective "Death of the Empire".
The actor also starred in the feature-length film "Turkish Gambit", an adaptation of the book of the same name by Boris Akunin. The singers played the role of a gallant hussar by the name of Zurov, playing him brilliantly, and his sarcastic remarks became common nouns.
He was awarded the Order of Honor and was awarded the fourth degree “For Merit to the Fatherland” award.
A speaking surname and excellent vocal and musical data lead Dmitry to the idea of creating his own musical project. He publishes collections of songs in which he himself performs romances and songs. In addition, he and the singer Zara, at the peak of the popularity of the music competition "Two Stars", took the second prize.
He gave musical performances with concerts and performed himself in the program “There are many singers, only one singers”.
Due to his great popularity, in addition to films, Dmitry Pevtsov is a welcome guest in various television projects. So, as a guest of the circus show, he starred in the first episode. But due to criticism towards the organizers and producers, he left the project, due to the fact that they did not take care of the safety of the artists, there was no medical staff, and difficult tricks were given to inexperienced celebrities.
Dmitry also starred in commercials for the Russian company MTS.
Personal life of the actor
When Singers studied acting at the institute, he was married to a fellow student, and later they had a son. The relationship did not last long, after a while they parted, but maintained friendly relations with each other.
In the early nineties on the set of the film "Walk on the Scaffold", the artist began to meet with the actress Olga Drozdova, a partner in the film. Soon their relationship was legalized by marriage.
At the beginning of the 2000s, the mass media spread news about the divorce of the stellar husband and wife. The false talk was denied by friends, family, and employees of the Lenin Komsomol Theater. But journalists suspected, and not in vain, that Pevtsov and Drozdova often get into quarrels in public and at rehearsals. Many times the film crew had to reconcile the artists, make concessions, and even offer each a separate dressing room.
For many years, the couple did not have children until they had a son in 2007. In public, Dmitry and Olga try to be together and help each other as much as possible with their strength.
After the tragic death of the first son Dmitry, various rumors spread. Allegedly, the son, Daniel, is to blame for the accident. Due to the fact that he used alcohol and drugs. Those close to Daniel claim that the young man was never fond of such a thing.
The slander spread like a wave. The funeral was closed. Fans of the young actor went to the grave after the main ceremony.
After numerous scandalous news and slander, journalists again convince the public of the divorce of the star artists, but the theater management assures the opposite. To date, Dmitry Pevtsov and Olga Drozdova are not going to part.
