Short biography of Alexey Glyzina

Alexey was born on January 13, 1954 in Mytishchi into a railway family. When the boy was four years old, his parents separated, and his mother began to play a leading role in the upbringing of a talented musician. It was she who took her gifted son to a music school. There he learned to play piano and guitar.

The beginning of the creative career of Alexei Glyzin was dedicated to the Mytishchensky Palace of Culture, where he spent three years. And then there was Moscow and the capital's institute of culture, from where he went to military service from the third year. It was in a military unit in the Far East that his talent was appreciated at its true worth. There Alexey was able to create the musical group "Flight" and already formed a name for himself.

At the end of his military service, Glyzin was a member of the VIA "Gems" and "Good fellows", and then he himself was able to put together the group "Faithfulness". And in 1978 he moved to Alla Pugacheva in the popular group "Rhythm", where he was noticed by Alexander Buinov with the group "Merry Boys". From that time on, Alexei's career began to develop rapidly.

By 1988, he had already become so popular that he decided to pursue a solo career, leaving the "Merry Boys" and founding his own team "Hurray". The artist's creative victories include many titles and awards, and his discography is filled with a huge number of musical masterpieces, including Winter Garden (1990), Ashes of Love (1994), It's Not True (1995), The Belated Express (1999), Golden Collection 1987-2001 (2001), Soul Flies (2004), Legendary Songs (2004), and Wings of Love (2012).

Personal life of the artist

The artist's first wife, Lyudmila, gave birth to his son Alexei in 1975. But the insane popularity of her husband led to a breakup due to one very passionate fan - Evgenia Gerasimova. But it did not work out with her either, since the young lady was striving not for a family idyll, but for organizing her own musical career.

In 1989, gymnast Sania Babiy captured the heart of Alexei Glyzin. Their marriage took place in 1992. In the same year, their son Igor was born.

Both sons of the star turned out to be successful creative people. Alexey became a director, and Igor plays in his father's group, studies Chinese and enjoys swimming.

In addition to family values, the current Glyzin is very sensitive to his health. He is engaged in hand-to-hand combat and football. In the "star" football team "Starko" he has to practice with the ball with such famous personalities as Vladimir Presnyakov Sr., Nikolai Trubach and Sergei Minaev.
