Steve Howe is an American film and television actor who gained wide popularity after playing the role of Kevin Ball in the television series Shameless. In college, he played basketball professionally and even thought about a sports career. But his love of films led Howie to Hollywood, and later he became in demand as a television actor.
Biography
Steve Howe, whose full name sounds like Stephen Michael Robert Howie, was born on July 12, 1977 in San Antonio, Texas. The boy spent his childhood on a 67-foot yacht called Valkyrie, where he was homeschooled while traveling with his parents along the Pacific coast.

Later, his family moved to Denver, the capital of Colorado. Howie graduated from high school there, after which he entered Northeastern Junior College in Stirling. He was helped to become a college student by a scholarship that he received thanks to his athletic success in basketball.
In the late 1990s, Howie worked as a waiter at Grady's American Grill in Colorado, achieved good results in athletics, but ultimately decided to pursue a career in film.
Career and creativity
Steve Howie made his acting debut in 1998 in the independent film Class. He produced this picture himself, and his father acted as a screenwriter and director. The film has been officially selected for screening at the Denver Film Festival.
In 1999, the aspiring actor appeared in several episodes of the crime drama Cops on Bicycles. A year later, he landed a supporting role in the television series Be Yourself (2000). In this story about the difficulties of the Green family, Howie played a character named Chris Defalco.
NBC's medical drama Ambulance (2000) and the ABC sitcom The Drew Carey Show (2000) followed on with his portrayal of quarterback Eliza and a student, respectively.

Between 2001 and 2007, Steve acted as Vaughn Montgomery on the comedy series Riba. His character, a silly but highly productive footballer, appeared in 126 episodes of this film.
In parallel with filming in "Riba", Steve Howie managed to appear in such films as "Supercross" (2005), "Gemini" (2005-2006), "DOA: Dead or Alive" (2006), "Seer" (2006-2014) and "The Beast" (2007).
