From biography
Viktor Aleksandrovich Glukhov was born in Moscow in 1946 into a military family. At first, the father was against his son getting an art education. After serving in the army, he studied at the graphic arts faculty of the pedagogical institute, where his future mentor Andrei Petrovich Surovtsev entered his life. Recalling this period, V. Glukhov said that he was grateful to fate for meeting him.
The artist gradually found himself. His works acquired a life-affirming attitude and preserved it to this day. He studied with such masters as P. Cezanne, P. Konchalovsky, E. Bragovsky. Together with Surovtsev he worked in ancient cities: Borovsk, Staritsa, Pereslavl-Zalessky.
Landscape harmony
The painter considers himself to be a school of "Russian impressionism". He writes impressions from nature, which are refracted through his feelings, mood, vision. For V. Glukhov, the provincial Gathering was a harmonious place of creativity.

From personal life
Wife Irina Maksimovna and twin sons Alexander and Maksim are artists. The family took part in the exhibition "Together". The Glukhov brothers entered great art, declaring their originality. In addition to painting, they are also approved in art photography. Alexander paints images of his wife and son. Maxim seeks to show the physical and spiritual side of his contemporaries.
