These lists are constantly updated, as searches for unmarked graves are ongoing to this day. To check if your grandfather, great-grandfather, father is on the list, enter his name, surname, years of service in the search bar. If there is no result, contact the editorial office of the site. Wanted lists are compiled separately. Your relative will get there and as soon as some information about him is found, you will be contacted.
Step 2
Contact the military-patriotic clubs that exist in your city. Very often, their participants undertake to help the relatives of the heroes who died in the war. Gather as much information as possible for them. Write where a person close to you was born, how old he was drafted into the army, when and where he presumably excavated in the region where your grandfather, father, great-grandfather allegedly disappeared, they will relate all the remains found with the information you have provided.
Step 3
Inform that you are looking for a relative who disappeared during the Great Patriotic War to the program "Wait for me". This project was created specifically to help those who are looking for loved ones. Every week, about fifty people are looking for it with its help. About thirty percent of them are military men who died on the battlefields. To leave a request to search for your loved one, fill out the form on the program website or call the contact phone number indicated there.
