Entin Yuri is a famous songwriter, author of lyrics for cartoons, children's films. Yuri Sergeevich composed more than 600 songs, participated in the creation of about 150 films.
early years
Yuri Sergeevich was born on August 21, 1935. His hometown is Moscow. He is Jewish by nationality. His father was a physicist, his mother worked as an economist.
As a child, the boy became interested in music early, often listened to records with children's songs. They wanted to enroll him in a music school, bought a violin, but the war began. In the army, my father was a translator. The rest of the family was evacuated to Orenburg.
As a schoolboy, Yura became interested in history, literature, was the editor of a wall newspaper. He graduated from the pedagogical institute (department of history), worked as a teacher at school for a year.
Then Entin began his studies at the Polygraphic Institute (editing department). After university, he worked as a proofreader in a printing house, then worked in publishing houses, and rose to the position of editor-in-chief. In 1962, Entin became the head of the Melodiya firm, having worked in this position until 1969.
Creative activity
At the age of 33, Yuri began to study poetry. Once he got on the set of the movie "Zastava Ilyich", where poets of the sixties (Rozhdestvensky Robert, Akhmadulina Bella, Evtushenko Yevgeny) recited poetry. Khutsiev Marlen, director, invited those sitting in the hall to read their compositions. Entin read poetic parodies of the verses he heard.
Among the audience was Gennady Gladkov, a composer, he invited Yuri to cooperate. Entin met with Livanov Vasily. The three of them came up with the cartoon "The Bremen Town Musicians", which was a success.
Then Yuri quit his job and began writing songs. He was the author of scripts for many cartoons, wrote the script for the movie "Mom". Entin composed songs for many children's films, came up with the song "Antoshka", the song of Vodyanoy "And I Hunt to Fly" and many others. He collaborated with famous composers: Tukhmanov Davil, Dunaevsky Maxim, Shainsky Vladimir and others.
Yuri Sergeevich published many books, was the author of musicals, children's television programs. He organized contests for children's songs, was a producer of performances. Entin created the Creative Center, was involved in the development of the "Winged Swing" project.
Personal life
The first wife of Yuri Sergeevich was Marina, the granddaughter of Nikolai Krylenko, Lenin's comrade-in-arms. They have a daughter, Elena. She graduated from Moscow State University, defended her thesis.
Then Entin married a second time. His second wife is also named Marina, she became the prototype of the Princess from "The Bremen Town Musicians". She has a son, Leonid, from her first marriage. He became a graphic designer.
Yuri Sergeevich has grandchildren, children of Elena. Marina is a manager by profession, Sergey works in a bank, is a candidate of sciences. Anna is fond of volleyball.
