Ilya Reznik's date of birth is April 4, 1938. He was born in Leningrad, in a Jewish family. Childhood fell on the period of the Patriotic War. Due to the Leningrad blockade, his family was evacuated to the Urals. The boy's father was mortally wounded at the front. Ilya's mother did not grieve for a long time, and got married. When the new husband confronted the woman with a choice between him and her son, she chose the man. Therefore, the boy stayed with his grandparents, who adopted him. He was able to forgive his mother already in adulthood.
Creative way
While studying at school, little Ilya dreamed of becoming an admiral. But approaching the graduation class, he realized that creativity was closer to him, and he decided to choose an acting path.
He managed to enter the Leningrad Institute of Theater only on the fourth attempt. Perseverance and hard work have always helped him on the way to achieving his goals.
When grandfather Rakhmiel, the breadwinner of the family, died, the boy had to look for work. He took on any job, from an electrician to a theater assistant.
He wrote his first songs as a theater student. After completing his studies, he, as part of the troupe, began to participate in various productions, all this time making rough sketches of poetry. In 1969 he released the first children's collections, one of which - "Tyapa does not want to be a clown." At the same time, Lyudmila Senchina performed the composition of Reznik - "Cinderella", which was loved by a wide audience.
Inspired by his first success, he left the theater and focused entirely on poetry. He even joined the club of Leningrad writers. In 1972, he met Alla Pugacheva, for whom he later wrote many hits, including "Without Me", "Ancient Clock", "Maestro".
The composition "Apple Trees in Bloom", performed by Sofia Rotaru, has become a beloved hit. She brought recognition to Reznik on "Song of the Year". From that time on, his cooperation with many eminent Russian pop artists began - Boyarsky, Leontyev, Vaikule and others. But the poet's muse remained - Alla Borisovna.
In addition to children's books, Reznik published collections of his poems, poems and other works. He did not forget about the acting craft. Sometimes he took part in performances and played in films. It is noteworthy that for many productions he wrote the script himself.
Ilya Reznik continues to be engaged in creativity, participates in various television programs and gives interviews with pleasure. The poet loves to lead an active lifestyle, even despite his impressive age.
Personal life
Only at the age of 30, Reznik got married, although all his life he enjoyed success with the opposite sex. After marriage, his wife Regina began to work in the theater. She gave birth to her husband a son and a daughter. The couple divorced over the years.
Ilya married again in 1985 to the dancer Munira. After four years of marriage, they had a son, who was named Arthur. In the 90s, they moved to live in the United States. Two years later, Reznik returned to Russia and their relationship ended. It took him 20 years to divorce. The ex-wife arranged intrigues in every possible way, claiming that Ilya left them with a child without means of subsistence.
Now Reznik is married to a former athlete Irina, who is 27 years younger than him. The lovers are so happy that they plan to get married in order to unite their souls forever.
