Leo Howard (full name Leo Richard Howard) is a young American actor and director. He is also known as a professional athlete - champion and martial artist who has demonstrated his skills on set on multiple occasions. Popularity in cinema brought him a role in the film "The Stone of Desires", for which Leo received the Young Artist Awards.

The boy was born in the USA in the summer of 1997. His parents were engaged in professional breeding of dogs - French and English Bulldogs - on their own ranch in California.
Leo's father was born in South Carolina. His ancestors were English, Scots and Irish. Mom was born in California. Through her line, Leo has Russian, Jewish and Austrian roots. Great-great-grandfather Leo was a cousin of the great-grandmother of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Leo grew up a very active child. At the age of four, his parents sent the boy to a sports school, where he began to study martial arts.
Within a few years, he became the owner of a black belt in karate and three times world champion in one of the modern martial arts of Okinawa and the oldest types of karate - shorin-ryu.
He was also part of the Sideswipe Performance Team, which combines martial arts, dance and acrobatics.
When Leo was nine, he told his parents that he wanted to be like Bruce Lee and not only practice martial arts, but also become a famous film actor.
Leo spent his childhood in a small town near San Diego. He received his primary education at Tri-City Christian Schools. Then the boy was transferred to home schooling due to the busy schedule of training and performances.
Film career
For the first time on the screen, Leo appeared in childhood, starting to appear in commercials. He also had a contract with an advertising and modeling agency.
Leo got his first television role in the Disney channel "Little Leo's Big Show." The TV show has been aired for two seasons since 2009.
His debut in big cinema was the role of Eric Brooks in the children's film "The Big Adventure of Ossie and Ted." The plot of the picture is a funny and instructive story about the Brooks family, their dog Ossi and about Ted the teddy bear. They all become true friends after many adventures that they had to go through together.
