They say that moving is worse than two fires. It can be very difficult to get out of a familiar place and move all the furniture, all the familiar surroundings to a new apartment or house. As a rule, for those who are going to move, the question arises: how to transport things? I would like to reduce losses to a minimum, so that nothing is broken or spoiled during transportation. Step 1
First, write a list of all the items you intend to transport. Divide them by size: furniture, kitchen utensils, clothes and linens with towels, books, potted flowers, and so on. Immediately write down in the columns of the list what you entrust to carry to the movers, and what you will carry or carry yourself in a passenger car.

Collect the container for packaging. If you keep all the boxes of household appliances, use them. If not, ask your friends, perhaps they have unnecessary ones. In any grocery store or supermarket, you can negotiate with the manager and take boxes and boxes for free or for symbolic money. In addition to household appliances, it is convenient to pack books, dishes in them (shifting them with soft rags or air-bubble wrap). Another important item for transporting things is a wide, durable tape. Buy more of it, because you will need to wrap boxes with it more than once, so that nothing falls out and breaks along the way. Inspect all the furniture in advance: which one can be disassembled, and which one will have to be transported whole. When disassembling a table or sofa, do not forget to put all small parts in transparent bags and sign them so as not to be confused. Be sure to write with a marker on the boxes. what is in them, if things are fragile there - put an exclamation mark or the inscription "be careful, glass!". Mark all the boxes: where are they up, where are they down.
