Plot
A series about the work of one of the Moscow police departments. The head of the department, Irina Sergeevna Zimina, is both the head of the position and the leader who leads all the employees. Covering up the unseemly actions of district police officers, operas and investigators, she is increasingly burdened with the burden of responsibility on her shoulders. An unexpected romance with a doctor brings her both joy and certain difficulties.
Throughout the series, the heroes are tormented by the need for moral choice.
Trying to bring the "executioners" to the surface, investigators are increasingly getting into the criminal environment themselves: they remove witnesses, close cases, steal material evidence, cover each other. And then it turns out that without the "executioners" the area will simply drown in robbery, murder and drugs. An example of this is an attack on a department by an unknown criminal who shoots employees and sets off an explosion. In response, the Pyatnitsky policemen themselves have to become executioners. The intensity of passions and plot twists and turns is what distinguishes the series from many others. The spectacular interweaving of the line of the criminal war with the love dramas of the heroes does not allow the viewer to break away from the screen throughout the season.
Heroes
Sledaki Shchukin, Zhigayev and Minaeva exacerbate the conflict with the "executioners", the district police officer Fomin and the head of public security Klimov get involved in the criminal business, the staff of the PPS Tereshchenko and Isaev, falling under an official investigation, become the trouble of the entire department, the children's inspector Rusakova threatens with all exposure. The head of the investigation Izmailova and operatives Tkachev and Savitsky are helping Zimina.
The former head of SCM Karpov, who managed to be released, also appears in the series. Their relationship with Zimina remains difficult, but they do not want to lose each other, since each of them needs help in a criminal confrontation.
One of the "executioners", Zotov, is also transferred to Pyatnitsky, who plays his own game. When the war escalates to the limit, Zimina takes her son to the village where Pyatnitsky's former investigator Agapov works.

The news about who is still the leader of the "executioners" amazes everyone - this could not even have occurred to anyone. In the last episodes, one of the employees of the department is killed. Solving this crime is a matter of honor for all heroes.
