Fahriye Evcen is a talented Turkish actress. She is best known for her role in the soap opera "Kinglet - Singing Bird" (2013–2014), where actor Burak Ozchivit became her partner in the frame. Interestingly, a few years after the end of this series, Burak and Fakhriye officially became a married couple.
Early years and first filming
Fakhriye was born in 1986 in the German city of Solingen. Her father was a Turk who moved to Germany from Greece, and her mother was a native of Karachay-Cherkessia.
Even in her school years, Evgen attended a theater studio and took part in performances. But at the same time, she had other interests: she played in the local basketball team, and also studied several foreign languages at once.
After school, Fakhrie became a student at the Heine University of Dusseldorf. However, she did not succeed in graduating from this educational institution. Once, while on vacation in Istanbul, a student was offered a role in the Turkish TV series Never Forget. Fakhriye accepted this invitation and soon left the university. In fact, it was only in 2014 that she graduated from the Bosphorus University with a degree in History.
Further career
Evgen's next job was a role in a TV series called Falling Leaves. This series lasted a total of four years, during which time Fakhriye played the role of Nejla Tekin. In parallel, the actress starred in several feature films. For example, in the film "Heaven" (2007), she played an imaginary dream girl of the protagonist. And in the melodrama "The Goal of My Life" (2008) Fakhriye appeared in the role of the purposeful careerist Pynar, whom her relatives want to marry against her wishes.
In 2010, Fakhriye took part in the romantic comedy film Senora Enrica. Here the young actress had a chance to work with such a star as Claudia Cardinale (she played the main character).
By 2013, Fakhriye Evcen was already quite popular in Turkey. And after the next film adaptation of the classic novel by Rishat Nuri Gyuntekin “Kinglet is a singing bird” (by the way, it was written back in 1922), they started talking about it in other countries. In this series, she played Feride, a girl with a difficult fate, who lost her father and mother early.
Her filming partner was Burak Ozchivit, also a famous actor. The series eventually received quite high marks from the audience, and Burak and Fahriye began to be called the most beautiful tandem on Turkish television. It was hard not to notice the “chemistry” that appeared between them in the frame.
Personal life
In 2012, the actress began a romantic relationship with actor Ozcan Deniz. There were rumors that they would soon be getting married, but in 2013 the couple suddenly broke up. The reason turned out to be quite commonplace: forty-year-old Denise was carried away by another girl.
In the same 2013, Fakhriye met her new love - the already mentioned Burak Ozchivit. At the end of the filming of the series "Kinglet - Singing Bird", they communicated for some time as friends. And only in 2015, young people finally told the public that they were dating.
Burak proposed to Evgen in December 2016. And on June 29, 2017, in Istanbul, on the shores of the Bosphorus, their wedding took place. It was attended by about 500 guests.
It should be added that lately Evgen practically does not appear on the screen due to pregnancy. She is supposed to give birth in early April 2019.
