Biography

The famous striker was born on May 21, 1986 in the small and quiet Croatian town of Slavonski Brod. Soon after the birth of his son, the family moved to Germany, and therefore Mario began playing football in the German team "Dietzingen" at the age of 6 years. The father of the future famous striker was a professional footballer, and the boy absorbed the peculiarities of German sports traditions from childhood.

When Mario was 10 years old, his parents were denied a residence permit. The Mandzhukichi returned to their homeland. Mario started playing at the Marsonia Football Club's children's academy. At the age of 17, he spent the only season in the youth team "Zhelezničar".

Career

The first professional team of Mandzhukich was exactly the team "Marsonia". Having played one season, the striker moved to the football club "Zagreb". In Zagreb, the young man got stronger, scored 14 goals in 2 seasons, and soon he received an offer from the flagship of Croatian football Dynamo from the city of Zagreb.

At Dynamo, the forward won the Croatian Championship three times and the country's Cup twice. On July 14, 2010 Mandjukic was officially introduced as a player for the German Wolfsburg. In the German team, Mandzhukic spent 2 seasons and scored 20 goals in 56 meetings. The Croat did not win any trophies with Wolfsburg.

The forward was noticed by the scouts of Bayern Munich, and on June 27, 2012 Mandzhukic signed a contract. Together with Bayern Munich, the striker won 5 trophies, but the most important was the victory in the Champions League in the 2012/2013 season. In total, the Croat played 54 matches for the Munich team and scored 33 strikes.

In 2014, Mario moved to Atlético from Madrid, but played in the camp of “mattresses” for one season, without noticing anything remarkable, he moved to Turin “Juventus”, where he currently plays. In Juventus, the striker has already won 7 trophies with his team and became a Champions League finalist in the 2016/2017 season. By the way, in the Champions League final, the striker scored a masterpiece goal kick against Real Madrid (it was this goal that was recognized as the best goal of the season according to UEFA). In Juventus, the forward has played over 100 games. In total, the striker has won 21 trophies during his career.

In the career of Mario Mandzhukic, there were unpleasant situations. One day, celebrating a goal, Mario raised his hand in the "Roman salute". In Europe, the striker was immediately accused of a penchant for neo-Nazism. Ultimately, Mandzhukich had to apologize to literally the whole world.

Personal life

Mario is quite closed when it comes to his personal life. It is only known that he has a lover, a Croatian, whose name is the same as the forward's sister, Yvonne. Therefore, insufficiently informed media often confuse the sister and girlfriend of Mario, so his love remains a mystery to many. It is only known that the relationship between them is quite serious.

Mario loves dogs, and there are always four-legged pets in his house. Rumor has it that the famous English club "Manchester United" is interested in a middle-aged (for an athlete) footballer.
