Biography
The future famous goalkeeper was born on December 15, 1986, in the city of Perez-Celedon, Costa Rica, and at first they wanted to give the child the name Freddie, but his father insisted that his son be called Keylor. The Keylor family was poor and very religious.

After Keylor's parents left to work, the future goalkeeper was raised by his grandmother. Football became his main hobby, but Keylor also loved horses.
Career
At the age of 13, Keylor Navas got into the youth sector of the local Saprissa team. It was with this team that the goalkeeper signed his first adult contract in 2005. Keylor did not immediately become the main goalkeeper of the team, spent two seasons as a reserve, but still won a place in the squad. In total, in the Saprissa team, Navas played 60 games and conceded 19 goals.
In 2010, the goalkeeper's Spanish voyage began. The first Spanish team of Navas was Albacete. At that time, the team played in the second strongest Spanish division, Segunda. In Albacete, the goalkeeper played 36 games and conceded 47 goals. In 2011, Keylor transferred to Levante on loan, but played only one match during the season, but defended to zero. Keylor spent the first season in the status of the second goalkeeper of the team, but in the 2013-2014 season won the place of the main goalkeeper.
