Sergei Yurievich Ilyinsky is a Russian painter and teacher of drawing. The artist was born in Novosibirsk in 1977.

Sergey began to paint in early childhood and showed great creative talent. As a teenager, Ilyinsky studied at an art school, from which he graduated as an external student.

Sergei did not receive higher education in the field of fine arts. Painting remained his favorite pastime, but not the main way of earning money.

In 2011 Sergey turned his hobby into a career. He founded the art salon "Ilyinka-art", began selling his paintings and painted to order.

The artist took part in group exhibitions and master classes in the capital and regions of Russia. Ilyinsky's paintings appeared in the collections of collectors from Ukraine, Germany, USA, Japan, England.

In 2019, Sergei Ilyinsky's personal exhibition "Accent" was held in the Moscow gallery "Niko", which consisted of 40 portraits of animals.

In 2020, Sergei Ilyinsky owns the TeachArt art center, teaches drawing lessons and organizes art parties. The author's course of the artist is called "We write in oil in 1 day."

Best work

Childhood spent in Siberia influenced the painting of Sergei Ilyinsky. The key subject of his work is the world of wildlife. Ilyinsky paints forest and sea landscapes, animals, flowers.

The visiting card of the master is “animal portraits”. Animals in Ilyinsky's paintings are depicted in a hyper-realistic manner: the artist recreates the texture of skins and skin in detail, notes details - for example, snow on the nose of a wolf. Drawn animals look like they are alive and take on individual features. The kitten seems naive and trusting; gazelles - graceful like dancers; bears are wise and brutal masters of the taiga.

The palette of paintings repeats the colors of wildlife and conveys the play of sunlight. Ilyinsky almost does not use black paint, so the canvases leave a positive impression, remind of the beauty of the pristine nature, which must be appreciated and protected. Perhaps this is the contribution of Ilyinsky to the cause of saving the planet?

The peculiarity of Sergei's "animal portraits" is the large format. Large realistic images of wolves, zebras, tigers look very impressive.

Painting lessons at TeachArt

Classes in the art studio are suitable for children and adults, while the level of training and ability to draw does not matter.

For 1 session, each student will write an oil painting and sign an autograph under it. Ilyinsky guarantees a positive lesson result, and a novice artist will be able to take his first masterpiece home.

TeachArt offers both group and individual lessons led by Sergei Ilyinsky. A painting session lasts about 3-5 hours. You do not need to bring consumables and tools - everything is included in the cost of the lesson.

The student himself chooses the genre of the future painting: landscape, still life. Those who are inspired by Ilyinsky's work will paint a portrait of the animal.

How do beginners paint in 1 session?

Sergei Ilyinsky's training course is based on the theory of right-brain or intuitive drawing.

The concept was proposed by the American scientist R. Sperry. In his opinion, the left hemisphere of the brain is responsible for habitual, stereotyped behavior; the right hemisphere is a repository of intuition and creativity.

Ilyinsky proposes to forget the usual attitudes that creativity is the lot of the elite, and painting takes a long time to study. In Sergei's lessons, students are guided by intuition, flair, not knowledge. An individual approach allows Ilyinsky to reveal the hidden abilities of his charges, which they do not even know about. The artist-teacher himself manages the technical details of the process - explaining to novice painters how to handle tools and materials.

A lesson in the studio of intuitive drawing is useful not only for artists or designers. New creative experience will help any person "pump" their brain, learn about hidden abilities and believe in their own strengths.
