During the Orthodox church services in churches, various books are used. In addition to the services of the daily circle, the clergy perform the so-called requirements - certain followings performed according to the need of a person.

A special part in the missal is occupied by the followings relating to the wires to the eternal life of the dead. So, the book contains the burial rites of Orthodox worldly Christians (funeral service), the text of the requiem is printed.
In addition to the common sequences used by believers in life, the prayer book contains prayers for the consecration of various things: icons, crosses, priestly vestments. You can see in the missal and prayers for the consecration of candles, willow, various vehicles.
Depending on the type of prayer book, the number of prayer sequences and ranks of consecrating things may vary.
