Music, to a greater or lesser extent, accompanies every person's life. Alexandra Nikolaevna Pakhmutova connected her fate with music. It was so pleasing to the higher powers, who endowed her with great talent.
Childhood
Discerning educators say that every child has some kind of ability. However, it is not so often that talent manifests itself. This happens for various reasons and independently of the little man. An important and often decisive role is played by the environment, family and parents. Alexandra Pakhmutova was born on November 9, 1929 in an ordinary Soviet family. At that time, the parents lived in the suburbs of the famous city of Stalingrad. The father worked at the power plant, and the mother was engaged in the household.
However, there was one peculiarity in the life of this social unit. In his free time from the main work, the head of the family played the piano in the cinema, where silent films were "played". In addition to this, he was fluent in the technique of playing the balalaika, violin and harp. He loved to do carpentry, repaired cameras and radios. From the first days the girl Sasha listened to the tunes of folk music.
Desire for creativity
The mother noticed her daughter's musical talent early on. Already at the age of three, Alexandra began to learn to play the piano. Today it seems not at all surprising that at the age of five, Pakhmutova composed her first piece of music, which she called "The Roosters Sing." When the girl turned seven, she was enrolled in a comprehensive school and in parallel to a music school. The measuredly flowing life was interrupted by the war. The Pakhmutov family spent more than a year in evacuation. And when the front line rolled back to the West, the girl, who was barely 14 years old, went to Moscow alone to enter the music school at the State Conservatory.
Then, after graduating from college, she entered the Faculty of Composition at the same Conservatory. At one time she wanted to become a professional pianist, but gave up this dream purely for physical reasons - turning her fingers on her hands was simply not enough to play complex chords. And nothing prevented her from composing musical works, even a small stature. Today Alexandra Pakhmutova is known all over the world. Her works are performed by orchestras of classical theaters. The songs are sung by popular pop singers.
