Biography
Wallace, the father of the future famous actor, worked in the computer industry and was forced to travel frequently, which he did with his family - his wife Anna, a teacher by training, and the children who were born during these trips. The Hugo family had three children: the eldest Simon, the middle son Weaving, who was born in the spring of 60 in Nigeria, and the youngest daughter, named after his mother, Anna.
Weaving spent his entire childhood traveling between Australia, South Africa and England, and by his teens his family stayed in England for three years. At this time, Weaving studied at the private school of Queen Elizabeth, and it was here that he first got acquainted with theatrical classics - it was Prokofiev's ballet based on Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet. The boy was touched by this spectacle to the depths of his soul and firmly decided to become a theatrical artist. There he first tried himself in this capacity, playing in the theatrical performances of the school.
In 1976, the Hugo family moved to Australia for permanent residence. Weaving completed his secondary education at Sydney Grammar School and entered NIDA, an institution that once attended Mel Gibson, Geoffrey Rush and other famous people. Film career
Hugo made his TV debut in 1984 in the Australian sports drama Bodyline, where he co-starred Douglas Jardine, the famous cricketer behind the game.
