As the date of the competition approached, prices gradually became higher. Tickets for the final of the event became especially expensive.

Eurovision 2014 was traditionally held for three days. The first semi-final started on May 6. The second was scheduled for May 8, and the final of the competition took place on May 10. Thousands of spectators from all over Europe came to cheer for their favorite performers and enjoy the spectacular show. Prices for Eurovision this year were very democratic. Tickets began selling in November last year, with many companies selling tickets very cheaply. For 14 euros it was possible to buy a ticket in advance for the main musical event of the year.

First stage of sales

The first stage of ticket sales started in November 2013, conditionally it lasted until January. During this period, tickets were the cheapest, because as world practice shows, few people plan such a trip in advance. The minimum ticket price was offered in Copenhagen - 14 euros for a seat on the central stand. Seats at the screens and at the commentary room could be purchased for 19-22 euros, and one could get into the fan group for 25 euros, but most of these tickets were not distributed through open sources - they were raffled off on television and radio broadcasts, presented as prizes and etc.

Second phase

In January 2014, the second stage started. Prices were raised by an average of 40%, while fan seats disappeared from sale, but seats appeared at the stage and in boxes. It was the time of the most massive sales. Seats closer to the stage cost at least 250 euros, the price of the box started at 1200 euros, VIP seats for invited guests were not sold on a large scale, but, they say, they cost at least 2500 euros - they were distributed "in a get-together." How many such tickets were there - there is no exact information.

Third stage - April

The remaining tickets were sold in the third round in April. At the last stage of ticket sales, less comfortable seats were sold out. Their cost was quite reasonable: in many companies it was possible to purchase a ticket within 30 euros, but, of course, these were side and massive stands.

For five years, prices have increased by about 3 thousand rubles.

Eurovision tickets could be bought not only for attending the final or semi-finals, it was also possible to get access to rehearsals - tickets for them were sold within 100 euros, and various thematic events in the form of parties - from 450 euros.

Many tried to save money and bought tickets from dealers directly in Copenhagen - they could buy tickets much cheaper than from official distributors, but in most cases the tickets turned out to be fake. Unfortunately, this situation is typical for every large popular competition.

Compared to previous years, Eurovision ticket prices have not increased significantly. During this event in Moscow in 2009, the cost of tickets was approximately 7.5 thousand rubles.
