Biography, musical career and merit
Valery Shoteevich Meledze was born on June 23, 1965 in a small village in Georgia. In a family of ordinary engineers. And Valera himself, after graduating from music school, went to work as a telephone operator, however, he did not give up his dream of becoming a singer and performing on the big stage. Valera went to get his education in Ukraine, at the S. Makarov Nikolaev Shipbuilding Institute. He received his Diploma in Mechanical Engineer for Marine Power Plants in 1989. In 1994 he defended his dissertation.
Valery took his first professional musical steps since 1989, as part of the Dialogue rock group. Solo Valery began to cost his career in 1992, when he was invited to perform in a concert dedicated to the upcoming Winter Olympics in Albertville. After that, he attended the Roksolana Flower Festival (1993), where he signed a contract with producer Evgeny Fridlyand. In the same year he performed in Alla Pugacheva's "Christmas Meetings" with the song "Limbo".
Since 1995, Valery began to release solo albums: "Sera", "The Last Romantic" (1996), "Samba of the White Moth" (1998), "It Was All That Way" (1999), "Nega" (2003). Valery was married twice. Valery signed his first wife Irina in 1989. The family lasted until 2012, until it became known about Valery's relationship with the lead singer of the VIA Gra group Albina Dzhanabaeva. Valery's relationship with Albina was officially formalized in 2014.
Valery is the father of six children with many children. The very first child died 10 days after birth, in 1990. The second child is Inga's daughter (1991). The youngest child was born in 2014.
