Greenpeace is an influential international organization. Its supporters are fighting for environmental safety in all corners of the planet. The domestic branch, which is called Greenpeace Russia, was organized in 1989. Today, there are 2 official offices in the country - in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Every Russian can contribute to the protection of nature by becoming a volunteer, online activist or supporter of Greenpeace.

Step 1
There are no restrictions on age, gender, place of residence, etc. to join the organization as a volunteer. Indicate information about yourself in a special form on the official Greenpeace website or contact the coordinator of volunteer projects in Moscow or St. Petersburg. You will also find e-mail addresses and contact numbers on the website. After registration, you will receive messages about volunteer projects and will be able to communicate with activists of the movement on a special forum.
Step 2
Volunteers are involved in the dissemination of environmental information, participate in educational projects of Greenpeace, collect signatures under official appeals to the authorities. In addition, they independently organize events within the framework of existing projects, for example, campaigns for garbage collection in forests and parks. For volunteers, trainings and seminars are held to teach them how to effectively work for nature conservation.
Step 3
To become an online activist, it is enough to fill out a form on the Greenpeace Russia website. You will be able to cast your vote in support of appeals to the country's leadership on environmental safety issues. In addition, you will regularly receive messages about promotions held on the Internet, their results and decisions made.
Step 4
Provide material support to the environmental movement by becoming a supporter of Greenpeace Russia. To do this, fill out a special form on the official website of the organization or in one of the offices. Make a donation of any amount using a bank card, through payment terminals, electronic money or otherwise.
Step 5
As a supporter of the organization, you will regularly receive information by e-mail about ongoing campaigns, achievements of Greenpeace in the regions and international news on environmental issues. You will be given the opportunity to participate in thematic meetings with employees of Russian and foreign offices in various cities and countries.
Step 6
If during the year you transfer more than a certain fixed amount to your Greenpeace account, you will be included in the Rainbow Warriors club. This club unites people who provide significant material assistance to the organization. Warriors of the Rainbow hold regular meetings to discuss the possibilities of solving environmental problems.
