Sometimes the content is rather heavy, but there was never any "vanilla" in Sharov's compositions. They did not assume the indispensable "happy ending" and the complete absence of the terrible. Of course, the writer did not offer classic "horror films". His stories revealed to the readers the world of people's actions, their emotions. This is not the case in many of the writings of other writers.

In 1975 the story "Dandelion Boy and Three Keys" was screened. Sharov acted as the author of the script for the cartoon "Dandelion". The boy received three keys from the dwarfs. It was necessary to properly dispose of them, to find and open the necessary lock.
