Shera (Sher) Izrailevich Nurenberg became famous under the pseudonym Alexander Sharov. From under his pen came out bright and honest stories, showing both the bad and the good traits of the heroes. Talented works are addressed not only to children, but also to adults.
Searching for the future
The biography of the future writer and journalist began in 1909. The child was born on April 25 (May 8) in Kiev. Until 1918, he was brought up by his grandparents with his older brother Alexander. Then the children moved to Moscow.
Parents passed away early. As a child, the future writer learned to accept and show everything in its true light. The boy did not become embittered, retaining forever love for people and goodwill. Sharov studied at the Lepeshinsky Experimental School in the capital.
After graduation, the graduate continued his education at Moscow State University. He graduated from the biological faculty in 1932, becoming a geneticist. In his specialty, the young man did not work for long, realizing that he dreamed of writing. The first articles of the aspiring journalist appeared in print from 1928, while he was studying at the university.
The writer began with popular science publications on the activities of scientists. He managed to please in the newspapers Izvestia and Pravda with a special correspondent. In this capacity he took part in a transarctic flight in 1937. In 1937 the pseudonym of Shera Izrailevich appeared. He signed all his books as Alexander Sharov. During the Great Patriotic War, the writer fought, received several medals and orders.
Vocation
From 1947 to 1949 the writer worked at Ogonyok. He began composing for children in the fifties. In the sixties, he created fantastic works "Pirrow Island", "After the re-recording". Sharov presented to the readers the history of the literary fairy tale "Wizards Come to People".
The works appeared for the first time in 1954 in the Novy Mir magazine. The wise work "The Pea Man and the Simpleton" told about a boy who had lost his mother. She left several things to her son, ordering not to give them to anyone. The kid who went to travel met the Pea Man, saved the Princess and the fairytale city. The boy came out with honor from difficult trials.
It is difficult, almost impossible to attribute the composition "Wizards Come to People" to the fabulous genre. However, the book is also interesting for children. It is composed of stories about famous storytellers from life and their creation of works. In 1970, the story "Cuckoo - a prince from our yard" appeared. It tells about the extraordinary adventures of an ordinary city boy. They began with a meeting between Sasha and an old man, on whose head flowers were growing.
The author called the story about the brothers-artists “The Adventures of Ezhenka and Other Drawn Men”. It tells the story of a red blue eye and magic pencils.
Works for children and adults
The story about the friendship between a boy and an adult “Volodya and Uncle Alyosha” gained popularity. The man knows how to tell the most interesting stories, he likes Volodya's neighbor, but he can’t establish a relationship with her.
The writer was sure that not only preparation, but also faith in success would help to win. This he states in his book "Baby Arrow - Conqueror of the Oceans." The author also addressed works in the genre of science fiction to adults. Their main difference was the presence of satire and irony of the syllable. The most famous were "Illusion or Kingdom of Bumps", "Riddle of Manuscript 700", "Pirrow Island".
Difficult questions were understood in the writer's works. All books are distinguished by honesty and humanity. Sometimes the content is rather heavy, but there was never any "vanilla" in Sharov's compositions. They did not assume the indispensable "happy ending" and the complete absence of the terrible. Of course, the writer did not offer classic "horror films". His stories revealed to the readers the world of people's actions, their emotions. This is not the case in many of the writings of other writers.
In 1975 the story "Dandelion Boy and Three Keys" was screened. Sharov acted as the author of the script for the cartoon "Dandelion". The boy received three keys from the dwarfs. It was necessary to properly dispose of them, to find and open the necessary lock.
Family and literature
The next multi-format was in 1988 "Ruler of Turroputo". According to the scenario, the Key of Time was taken over by the former Master of Destinies. He took the artifact from the watchmaker Hanselius in order to reverse the movement of time.
After the successful implementation of the plan, the ruler turned to the inhabitants of the country, announcing that now their whole life depends on him.
The writer created not only stories and stories. He wrote the play "The Girl Who Waits". He also authored two novels.
The writer made two attempts to arrange his personal life. His first chosen one was the architect Natalya Loiko. One child was born to her, a daughter, Nina.
The second wife of the writer was Anna Livanova, a physicist and writer. The only son of the writer Vladimir was born in their family. He continued the family business, chose a literary career and told readers about his father's personal life and work.
The writer passed away in 1984, on February 13. He never ceased to be engaged in creativity, until the last days he did not lose interest in literature.
