Biography
Chicherina Julia was born on August 7, 1978 in the city of Sverdlovsk (USSR). She became the second child in the family. The singer has an older sister, Dina. It was in Sverdlovsk that the girl learned to draw well and learned the basics of music. Julia loved to sing since childhood, even tried to enter the Goroshenki children's choir.
Julia became interested in music during her school years. She quickly mastered playing the drum and guitar. She also took part in several school groups.
After school, Julia tried to enter the Ural University at the Faculty of Art History, but did not pass one of the exams.
After she went to study at the school of culture, at the library faculty, but soon the future singer changed her mind and left the school. Julia went to get education at a music school in the class of pop vocal.
Career and creativity
In 1997, in Yekaterinburg, the singer founded her own musical group called "Chicherina", which, in addition to her, included musicians: Azat Mukhametov, Alexander Bury and Alexander Alexandrov. The band's birthday is considered the first club concert - June 1, 1997, when the Chicherina group performed in the cult Yekaterinburg club J-22.
Then the group took part in several music festivals in Western Siberia.
In 1999, the singer signed a contract with the Russian recording company Real Records and moved to Moscow. The producer of the group is Vadim Samoilov (leader of the Agatha Christie group).
In 2000 Chicherina presented her debut album "Dreams" to the public. Tracks and videos of the singer began to appear on television. The artist's songs became popular, and she herself began to be invited to music festivals and competitions in Moscow. The most famous compositions written by Yulia Chicherina are Tu-Lu-La and Heat. Video clips were specially shot for these works.
In 2000, the singer took part in the Russian television game "One Hundred to One".
In 2001, the band released their second album entitled "The Stream". And in the same year Yulia Chicherina participated in the creation of one of the compositions of the album of the group "Bi-2" "Meow Kiss Me", having recorded the composition "My Rock 'n' Roll" together with the group. On November 15, 2002, the song won the Golden Gramophone award, and on June 5, 2003, the Muz-TV annual national television award in the field of popular music in the Best Song nomination.

And in the same year she received the LPR medal "For Services to the Republic". She was also awarded the medal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR "For assistance to the internal affairs bodies."
Also in 2015, the singer, together with the group, created a conceptual video-musical work "A Tale of Wandering and the Search for Happiness."
On January 2, 2016, the singer gave a festive New Year's concert for Russian servicemen at the Khmeimim military base in Syria.

In 2017, a new single "My Sparta" was released.
On June 1, 2017, the Chicherina group celebrated its 20th anniversary. The musicians spent the entire jubilee year on tour with the program “20 years on the road”.

Personal life
The singer was married twice.
Yulia's first husband was Alexander Buryi (bass player and sound producer of the first line-up of the Chicherina group). In 1999, the couple had a daughter, Maya. But after the collapse of the first composition of the group, the marriage of Julia and Alexander broke up.
The second husband of Chicherina was the architect Suhrab Radjabov. The couple live in the village of Knyaginino near Moscow, in a house built according to the project of Sukhrab. Also, the couple loves to travel. They visited Mongolia, the USA, a number of countries in Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia.
