Uzdensky Anatoly Efimovich is a theater and film actor who came from Siberia and "won" the Moscow Sovremennik. Subsequently, he starred in films, creating military and civilian images. The premature death violated his dream - to create his own theater in his beloved city of Novosibirsk and to realize his directorial plans.
From biography
Anatoly Efimovich Uzdensky was born in Pavlodar, Kazakh SSR in 1952. His father, a journalist, wanted one of the children to choose this path. The youngest son dreamed of the stage. His mother jokingly suggested his profession, calling him an "artist" for his pranks. A warm relationship reigned in their family. He called his childhood poor, but happy.
Already in adolescence, Anatoly liked the play "The Bedbug" based on the play by V. Mayakovsky. He studied with interest in the studio of the Pavlodar theater. He received his higher theatrical education in Novosibirsk. Subsequently A. Uzdensky became an actor of theater and cinema.
Stage career
The theater in Novosibirsk has become a favorite place for him. Here he had large, deep roles, tours, directorial experience. The viewer went exactly to "Uzdensky". He directed The Naked King and played the main role in it, which aroused particular interest. His benefit performances lasted for several days.
In the early 2000s, A. Uzdensky, having moved to St. Petersburg, played in the "Theater on Liteiny". Since 2005 he lived in Moscow and worked at the Sovremennik Theater. Loved the plays of A. P. Chekhov and A. N. Ostrovsky. Chebutykin conquered him in "Three Sisters" by his kind-heartedness, defenselessness hidden behind ostentatious harshness. The military doctor seemed to foresee the tragedy of the Prozorov sisters and his fate.
Rich film career
During his film career, he created images of various social, temporal, professional, and service levels: the role of a police captain, crime boss, director of the FSB, corporal, colonel, marshal, businessman, prosecutor, landfill owner, investor, first secretary of the district party committee, judge, plant director, chairman of the village council, groom, prince Vyazemsky, Duma clerk and even a minister.

When the actor began to perform at the "Theater on Liteiny", everything was fine, but he … got depressed. Turning on the TV, I began to feel that he needed not St. Petersburg news, but Novosibirsk news. A. Uzdensky, admitted that the desire to return was always present.
It was as if he was on a protracted creative business trip that cannot last forever. The actor dreamed of creating his own "small theater", where he could do creative work and where tickets would be sold a month in advance. But his dream did not come true. He ended his life in August 2018 in his beloved city.
