Raul Bova is an Italian actor, producer, screenwriter, director and model. He began his creative career in the 90s of the last century. Raoul became famous after playing the title role in the film "Princess Beautiful". Today, the actor has already played more than seventy roles in various film projects.
Raoul never dreamed of becoming an actor. Since childhood, he has been professionally involved in sports and even became the Italian champion in swimming at a distance of one hundred meters.
He was going to continue his sports career after he returned from the army. Raoul entered the university, but the invitation to shoot completely changed his future destiny. His sports career faded into the background, and he plunged headlong into the world of cinema.
early years
The boy was born in Italy, in the summer of 1971 in an ordinary family. He has two beloved sisters, with whom Raoul still tries to meet as often as possible.
From an early age, the boy's main hobby was sports. Already in his school years, he more than once became a prize-winner of many competitions held within the walls of the school. Later, Raul joined the national swimming team. At the age of sixteen, Bova became the champion of Italy, and no one doubted that the young man's further career would be associated with professional sports.
When Raoul was twenty-one years old, he went to the army. Back home, Bova entered the Italian University Istituto Superiore di Educazione Fisica and was going to become a professional coach.
Already a student, Raoul began acting in commercials, and soon got his first roles on television. It was then that the young man was seriously carried away by creativity. As a result, after studying at the university for about a year, he dropped out to pursue an acting career.
Bova entered the acting school and additionally began to take private lessons from the famous Italian actor M. Margotta.
Film career
Bova got his first small roles in television projects in the early 90s. The young actor was immediately noticed, so a year later he was offered to play the main role in the film "Beautiful Princess". Together with Bova, S. York and P. Freeman starred in the film. The film received high marks from viewers. Soon, Raul became a real star of cinema and the new sex symbol of Italy.
In the early 2000s, Bova got a central role in the film "The Window Opposite". It was this work that became the most difficult and significant for the actor, because all these years he tried to prove that he has not only a beautiful appearance, attracting hundreds of fans to him, but also high professionalism, which allows him to play serious roles.
Bova is known not only in his homeland. He has repeatedly starred in Hollywood with such actors as: S. Stallone, J. Depp, A. Jolly and many others. Bova became a husband three times.
The first wife was the actress Romina Mondello. This marriage fell apart very quickly.
In 2000, Raoul married again. His chosen one was Chiara Giordano, who gave her husband three beautiful children: sons Alessandro Leon and Francesco, daughter Sofia. The couple have been married for over ten years and divorced in 2013.
Raul's third wife was actress Rocio Muñoz Morales. In 2015, the couple had a daughter, Luna.
Today Raul is one of the most sought-after actors in Italy. He acts a lot, is engaged in dubbing cartoon characters, tries himself as a screenwriter, director and producer.
