Pavel was born in one of the maternity hospitals in Minsk in 1971, on March 31. Parents permanently lived in Moscow, where the boy's father, who had already finished his swimmer career, worked as a coach. But to give birth to his mother went to Minsk, where her parents lived.
Pavel Bure began to play hockey at the age of 6, and already at the age of 17, in 1988, he distinguished himself as part of the main CSKA team, scoring the first goal in the 4th minute of the match with the Dynamo national team.
