The birth of a king

Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 in the American state of Indiana (city of Gary). He was the seventh child in a family of nine children, but he was distinguished among them by an amazing talent for singing songs. At the age of five, the talented Michael became a member of the Five Jackson group, which was created by his father from his four eldest sons and Michael himself. Performing in the group, Michael fully revealed his outstanding musical abilities to famous producers, who immediately offered the ensemble to sign a serious contract.

After signing the contract, "Five Jacksons" successfully toured the world for several years, recording six megapopular singles during this time.

However, over time, Michael began to understand that it was not enough for him to be a member of a group where he could not fully realize his ambitions. He firmly decided to leave his father's care, becoming an independent performer who would work exclusively for himself. Before leaving the family ensemble, Michael manages to record his first solo album and sends it to the famous producer Quincy Jones. Jones takes Michael under his wing and helps him record his second album, Off the Wall, which is selling over 10 million copies worldwide. After that, Michael Jackson becomes a superstar and finally flies out of his father's nest.

The career and death of the pop king

Becoming a superstar, Michael Jackson decides to conquer the world and records the great album Thriller, which is sold worldwide in more than 40 million copies. This album became the best-selling disc of all times and peoples - it even entered the Guinness Book of Records. During his collaboration with Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson was awarded eight more Grammy statuettes, and music critics never tired of praising him.

As a solo artist and former member of the Five Jacksons, Michael was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice.

During his career, Jackson has been repeatedly attacked for his eccentric appearance and outrageous behavior on stage, but this did not stop him from continuing to delight his army of fans with new hits. Unfortunately, the manipulations that Michael carried out with his appearance severely crippled his health, and in 2009 the fifty-year-old king of pop died of cardiac arrest caused by an overdose of painkillers.
