German rock bands are among the leaders of the world rock scene. Energetic music, catchy vocals, special sound of the German language - these are the main reasons for their popularity in various countries.
Rammstein
Millions of people around the world associate German rock music with the Rammstein group. The band was founded in 1994 and works in the tradition of German rock with elements of industrial metal. Rammstein pays a lot of attention to shocking, which manifests itself in everything: in lyrics, music videos and large-scale stage shows.
In 2005 and 2010, the group received the World Music Awards from the International Federation of Recordings (IFPI) for the sale of over 10 million sound carriers.
One of the illustrative and best Rammstein albums is considered "Mutter", released in 2001. The band undertook a tour in support of this album, seriously increasing their fan base.
Scorpions
Another world famous rock band from Germany. Scorpions are known to the older generation because the beginning of their work is dated 1965. At the same time, veterans of the rock scene still do not lose their popularity, holding concerts in different countries.
Throughout the history of their existence, the Scorpions were able to sell about 150 million copies of their albums. Already in the first disc released ("Fly To The Rainbow"), the individual style created by the collective was noticeable: powerful guitar parts combined with melodic vocals.
In 1980, the album "Animal Magnetism" was released, which was somewhat different from the previous ones: it turned out to be very energetic, in the best traditions of hard rock. For many years this disc remained the "calling card" of the Scorpions.
Das Ich
A rock group whose history began to be written in 1989. Das Ich play music that can be classified in several styles: industrial, darkwave, electro-gothic. The group is remembered for non-trivial, somewhere even extremist poems set to rather dark music. Das Ich concerts are held with extensive use of makeup, costumes and a variety of decorations.
Tanzwut
This collective was formed in 1998 and creates in the genres of industrial metal and medieval metal. Most of Tanzwut's works feature drums and electric guitars, as well as intricate bagpipes that the band members make themselves.
Tokio Hotel
Representatives of the new wave of German rock. The team was founded in 2001, but has gained worldwide popularity. The group consists of young guys playing outstanding and daring music.
