Instructions

Step 1

To receive a subsidy for the use of benefits to reduce the cost of housing and communal services, contact the district department of housing subsidies of the city of Moscow and specify the maximum income set for receiving the subsidy, since only low-income families can receive the benefit. In 2011, the total family income per person is up to 21,367.30 rubles, for two family members - up to 34,672.20 rubles, for three - up to 49,127.40 rubles, for four people - up to 65,503.20 rubles.

Step 2

Prepare all the documents required to apply for a subsidy:

- passport, birth certificate of children;

- certificate of family composition;

- certificates of income from the place of work for 6 months, and for non-working citizens from the employment center;

- copies of documents on payment of utilities;

- a certificate for students, indicating the form of study and the amount of the scholarship received (if tuition is paid, then the amount of the fee to be paid and copies of documents confirming the payment);

- a copy of the work book;

- insurance pension certificate;

- a copy of the savings book.

Step 3

Keep in mind that in Moscow, you can apply for a reduction in housing and communal services if the bills for their payment exceed 10% of the total family income. The benefit is provided for 6 months, after which the right to receive it must be confirmed again. Also, when calculating the subsidy, the standard footage of housing is taken into account - for one family member 33 square meters, for two family members - 42 square meters. m., three people - 18 sq. m for each.

Step 4

Find out about the amount of the subsidy owed in the monthly invoice. The subsidy in cash is transferred to any current account opened in any bank in Moscow. At the same time, you can dispose of the received amount at your discretion, paying for utility bills in full. In case of non-payment of utility services for two consecutive months, the subsidy will be suspended.
