Perhaps every adult imagines what the Russian army is. Someone is afraid of her, someone, on the contrary, seeks to serve in her. The right and duty to serve in the ranks of the armed forces is confirmed by a military ID, which is issued to men upon reaching the age of 18.
A military ID, which is also popularly called a military man, is a document that is issued to a person liable for military service during the period of conscription to special institutions where military service is possible. Also, this ticket is issued upon admission to the reserve or release from service. A military card certifies the identity of a citizen, and therefore those liable for military service have the right to present it instead of a passport.
It is curious that military cards issued to citizens in the Soviet Union are still valid. The military ID contains information about the citizen, namely:
- last name, first name and patronymic, - date and place of birth, - data on education and specialty, - information about the presence of sports categories,
- the conclusion of the commission on being in stock, and so on.
A military card is received by citizens who are called up to serve not only in the armed forces of Russia, but also in other military departments. So, military men have women who are on the military register. Persons liable for military service who are found unfit or fit, but with health restrictions. It is also found among males who graduated from the military department and among officers who were transferred to the reserve.
Why is it needed
A military ID is needed when applying for a job, especially in a large company, where the employer carefully monitors all the documents of employees. You will also need a military man if you want to get a foreign passport and go abroad. Upon admission to a university, the admissions committee will definitely require a military ID if the applicant has reached the age of eighteen.
If you want to legally acquire rights or obtain a permit to carry weapons, then it is imperative to provide a military ID. And finally, a military ID will come in handy when applying for a loan at a bank, since the bank will definitely find out if you are breaking the law and not dodging the army.
