Starting conditions

The period of industrialization in the history of the Soviet Union was marked by a large number of labor achievements and exploits. In childhood, Anatoly was no different from his peers. The boys grew up strong, energetic, prepared for agricultural work. As a teenager, he worked as an assistant in a smithy, a locksmith, an assistant mechanic at a motor depot. In 1926, Lyapidevsky was drafted into the Red Army. A technically trained soldier was sent to the courses of military pilots. After graduation, he continued to serve in the air force. For several years he taught piloting techniques at the Yeisk Aviation School. In 1933 he was demobilized and went to work in Chukotka in the polar aviation unit.
