Biography
American writer Leslie Elson Waller was born in April 1923 on the shores of Lake Ontario - United States of America.
It happened in the city of Rochester. His parents are from Ukraine, who immigrated to America. The boy grew up as a sickly child. Has suffered a serious eye disease and polio. Despite serious illnesses, he managed to graduate from high school. He was always distinguished by great diligence. I started writing very early. Immediately after school, he worked for a short time in a daily newspaper published in Chicago called the Chicago Sun-Times. He was a criminal news reporter. Then he went to a private college in Wellesley.
Military service and further education
At 19, he is drafted into the US Army, where he serves in the Army Air Force. Leslie's service fell on wartime. While in the service, he continues to write constantly.
Returning from the front, he graduated from the University of Chicago and received a bachelor's degree. He then graduated from Columbia University and became a Master of Arts in American Literature.
Writing career
Waller publishes his first work under the name C. S. Cody. It was called Lying Like a Lady. The author has written several works under the pseudonym K. S. Cody. After the first novel, the author begins to publish works under his own name. The first one was called "Three Days Later". Leslie is quickly becoming famous. His books are read. Publishers are happy to publish them. The author writes a lot ("Show me the way", "The bed she made", "Phoenix Island", "Night of the Witch" and a number of others).
