Employees of any enterprise, with the exception of representatives of certain special professions, have the right to call a strike in case of claims against the actions of employers. The strike is an extremely powerful tool for achieving labor justice.
Instructions
Step 1
Formulate the requirements for the leadership of the organization, the essence of the disagreements that have arisen and the goals that you want to achieve with the help of the strike. Determine the number of employees of the organization participating in it, as well as the timing of its start, which should not exceed two months from the date of the decision to announce it. Select a responsible person who will represent the interests of the company's employees during negotiations with the management.
Step 2
Gather a general meeting of the organization's employees. It must be attended by at least half of the entire staff of the enterprise for such a meeting to be valid and competent. Providing suitable premises for this pre-strike meeting is the direct responsibility of the organization's management, and it is against the law to obstruct the meeting.
Step 3
A representative group can also limit itself to collecting signatures of workers willing to take part in the upcoming strike. Such a measure is used if it is impossible to hold a meeting of employees for one reason or another. The decision to declare a strike, made on the basis of the collected signatures, has the same force as that adopted at the end of the general meeting.
Step 4
Wait for the decision, which will be taken by the organization's management. The so-called warning strike can become an additional tool for influence. You can arrange it by notifying the employer at least two days before the start. A warning strike can be carried out only once, its duration is one hour.
Step 5
Warn the management of the enterprise about a future full-fledged strike at least five working days before it starts. If a trade union is organizing a strike, then this minimum period between the announcement of a strike and its beginning is increased to seven working days.
