Almost any person can get lost in the forest, even a local resident, it would seem, is sure that he knows every path in it. This can happen, for example, if you get carried away picking mushrooms or berries and go to an unfamiliar place. Or if, due to cloudy weather, it is impossible to navigate by the sun. Be that as it may, the lost person must be sought.
Instructions
Step 1
Much depends on family and friends. If the person has not returned by the appointed time, you need to sound the alarm. Remember that the earlier you organize the search, the more chances that the lost person will be found quickly.
Step 2
If he took a mobile phone with him into the forest, and you managed to contact him, that is, the signal passes, ask him to stay in place, and immediately contact the nearest emergency department yourself. By bearing with the help of modern equipment, it is possible to accurately determine the location of the phone and, accordingly, its unlucky owner. The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, contacting him, will be able to explain how to get out of the forest, or they themselves will send a group for search and withdrawal.
Step 3
If there is no mobile phone, also urgently contact the rescuers. Try to give them as accurate information as possible about the lost person: where exactly he was going to go, for how long, what he was wearing. Be sure to take some of his personal belongings, clothes or shoes with you. This is necessary if you need to let the dog follow the trail.
Step 4
You can organize a search with the help of local authorities or the police. Please note that the police, referring to some departmental instructions, often refuse to accept a statement about the disappearance of a person (they say, if he does not show up in three days, then come and start looking), so if necessary, be persistent.
Step 5
There are also public organizations dealing with the Internet. Contact them, and volunteer volunteers will surely go to find your loved one.
Step 6
In the event that local residents, acquaintances or colleagues of the lost person go to search, it is necessary to quickly organize transport, food, and communications for them. It is better if people who have similar experience and capabilities (for example, heads of local enterprises or officials of a local municipality) take on the solution of these issues.
Step 7
Print advertisements asking for help in the search. Indicate the name of the missing person, his age, signs of what he was wearing. Post these announcements in villages, at public transport stops, railway stations located near the part of the forest where he planned to go.
