In order to join a public organization, you must write an application, pass an interview and, in some cases, pay a membership fee. The activities of all public associations are regulated by Federal Law No. 82-FZ.

Step 1
Find out what community organizations are active in your area. To do this, in any search engine, search for "public organizations of Moscow (Kazan, Perm)". Choose from the list the one that interests you the most.

Visit the official website of the NGO you are interested in.
Step 3
Study the Charter of the organization, it is posted on the official website. Knowledge of this document is mandatory for joining any public association. Keep in mind that some public organizations impose restrictions on the age of members, their citizenship.
Step 4
Study the conditions for joining a public organization. As a rule, in order to become a member, it is necessary to provide a written application in the prescribed form. In some cases, letters of recommendation from existing members of the organization will be required.
Step 5
Find on the website the contacts of the regional branch of a public organization in your city. Call the office and find out what time applications for joining the association are accepted.
Step 6
Fill out an application to join the organization. It is necessary to leave reliable data about your person in it. Sign. The application form is usually posted on the official website of the public organization.
Step 7
Submit your completed application to your regional NGO office. Attach letters of recommendation to it.
Step 8
Get your interview at the appointed time. The current members of the association will make a decision on your candidacy. The terms for making a decision and the procedure for joining are described in the Charter of the public organization.
Step 9
Pay a membership fee if it is mandatory for all members of your community organization.
Step 10
Get your membership card. It usually takes up to two weeks to make.
