The divine service, called the liturgy, is one of the types of prayers for the repose of the departed Christians. There are also other types of prayers, which can be ordered in any temple. To do this, you need to write a note and throw it into the church box.

Step 1
You can order prayer services not only in churches, but also in private houses, chapels, fields. Such services can be both public (for the whole people, for example, on Christmas Eve or Easter), and private (prayer for the health of someone).
Step 2
Order a prayer for health in any Orthodox church. The concept of "health" for the church service includes both physical and spiritual health and material well-being. A prayer service "For health" is ordered to cure ailments, get rid of enemies and envious people.
Step 3
To order a service, go to the church box and write on a piece of paper the names of those people for whose health you need to pray. In some churches, it is necessary to dictate the names to the minister - she will write them down and throw them into the desired box on her own. On the prepared notes at the top of the sheet you can see the image of the cross and the signature "On health."
Step 4
Remember that the prayer service can only be ordered for baptized people. Write the listed names in the nominative case, in legible and clear handwriting. It is also necessary to make a mark next to each name: if you order service for a child under seven years old - write an infant, from seven to fourteen - an adolescent, on a conscript soldier or a person with a military profession - a warrior, mark "sick" next to the name of a sick person, in addition, you can indicate the holy order (if any).
Step 5
When you compose a note, do not forget that according to the canons of the Church, the name of the Patriarch should go first, after him the name of the Archpastor, then the name of the spiritual father. This is followed by a listing of the names of the parents, their own name, the names of family members (husband, wife, children), relatives and friends. At the end, you must indicate the names of your benefactors.
Step 6
In addition, you can order a prayer service "For the repose". To do this, also write on a piece of paper the names of the deceased in the nominative case and throw them into a special box or dictate the names to the servant. During the service, the notes are brought into the altar, where they are read before the throne during the Divine Liturgy.
Step 7
In addition to a simple prayer service, you can also order a water blessing service. Then, during the service, water will be blessed, which will later be distributed to believers.
