Carier start

Biography of Marc Marquez begins with his birth on February 17, 1993 in the small Spanish town of Cervera, which is home to about 10 thousand people. From an early age, the future pilot showed interest in motorcycles, and first saddled a sports bike at the age of 5. The family supported Mark's hobbies, and the young racer continued to learn to drive a motorcycle.

Marquez's career began in 2001, when he attended his first enduro championship in Catalonia, where he won first place. However, the motorcyclist did not like this discipline, and already in 2003 he switched to circuit racing.

Monlau Competicion and Team KTM Repsol

In 2003, Mark took the title in the Open Racc 50 Championship, and already in 2004 he was invited to the Monlau Competicion team, led by Emilio Alzamor. The young talent had a strong motivation to work and win, and in 2005 in the Catalan 125cc sub-championship he earns two titles in a row.

However, the first important championship for him will take place in 2008 already with a team called Team KTM Repsol. Thanks to good physical training and aggressive driving style, he manages to become the winner of the tournament, as well as become the youngest driver in motorsport after Dani Pedrosa.

The athlete did not stop there. Two years later, after winning the championship in Mugello and Silverstone, Mark became the world champion in the 125cc class.
