Dmitry Musersky is a famous Russian volleyball player who, as part of the national team, became the Olympic champion in 2014 in Brazil. What is interesting about his biography and the personal life of an athlete?
Musersky's biography
The future volleyball player was born on October 29, 1988 in the Ukrainian village of Makeevka. From the very birth, the boy stood out among his peers for his enormous growth. As soon as he went to school, he was invited to the volleyball section. From that moment, Dmitry began to develop mobility and a very strong blow.
At the age of 14, Musersky was invited to a sports boarding school in Kharkov. There he continued to gain experience and skill. At one of the tournaments held in Russia, the young player was noticed by the head coach of the Belgorod Lokomotiv Gennady Shipulin. So in 2006 the volleyball player moved to live in Belgorod. At first, he plays for the second team of the club, but with his successes as a central blocker, he makes his way to the base. Dmitry plays several matches in the Volleyball Champions League, and at the end of the year decides to change his citizenship and becomes a Russian.
Until this moment, Musarsky has already managed to play for the youth national team of Ukraine at various tournaments. But this does not prevent him from starting playing for the main Russian national volleyball team.
As part of Lokomotiv, Dmitry successfully spends a couple of seasons, but then he is leased to the Metalloinvest team from Stary Oskol. A few months later, the volleyball player returns to the team for which he has been playing for more than ten years.
During this time, Musersky becomes a multiple winner of the Russian Championship, and also wins the Champions League and the Club World Championship with the team in 2014. In general, that season, Dmitry is recognized as the best player in all tournaments. In 2011, Musersky received higher education, graduating from Belgorod State University.
The volleyball player begins playing for the Russian national team in 2010. He immediately becomes the leader of the team in terms of points scored, and his famous killer first pace will be recognized all over the world. So Dmitry becomes the owner of Olympic gold in 2012 together with the team. And in the World League he won twice in 2011 and 2013. There were other awards as part of the national team, but in 2016 Musersky decides to take a break from his international career and stops playing for the team for two years.
But in 2018 he still returns to the national team and immediately becomes the winner of the League of Nations, a new international tournament. At the same time, Dmitry decides to continue his club career abroad and goes to the Japanese team of Suntory Sunbirds.

Musersky married back in 2009 to a girl named Inna, who gave birth to him in 2015, a child, a son, Roman. Dmitry is very proud of his family and tries to spend all his free time with his son.
