From the biography of Leonid Mikhailovich Teleshev
The future singer, producer and composer was born in Ulan-Ude on January 27, 1962. Leonid was the seventh child of his parents. The main family concerns fell on the shoulders of the mother, who worked as an accountant. When Lena was one year old, the family moved to Saratov. Here Teleshev lived until he was fifteen. When my mother was gone, the elder brother took Leonid to Tver, where he was living at that moment.
During his school years, Leonid tried his hand at boxing and martial arts. He had to start working early. He worked part-time at a food processing plant, where he mastered several specialties at once.
When the time came, Teleshev went to serve in the army. He served in the Far East. There, Leonid began to compose his first songs.
After serving the due date, Teleshev returned home and entered the DOSAAF school. After that he worked as a driver for some time. When perestroika began, Leonid plunged into business. He had a chance to do a variety of things, including producing "boiled" jeans.

In 1997, Teleshev professionally recorded two of his compositions: "Coachman, do not drive horses" and "You are my light." Subsequently, he recorded a disc for the widow of Mikhail Krug, Irina. At the same time, he compiled an album with songs in his own performance.
In 2002, Leonid launched a concert activity. The sincere chanson performed by Teleshev fell in love with the public. His songs are often heard on Radio Chanson and at numerous music festivals where fans of such music gather. Teleshev works in conjunction with the Transit group.
Personal life of Leonid Teleshev
He met his wife Lena Teleshev at a dance evening: he went to discos even after thirty years. Elena often accompanies Leonid on tour. She is its chief judge and first listener. The wife actively participates in the organization of concerts and music festivals where chanson sounds. Elena also takes part in the activities of the M. Krug Creative Heritage Fund.
Leonid and his wife raised three sons. The guys were not carried away by musical creativity, but chose a military career.
