She is a master of sports of international class, champion of Russia and the world in ashihara karate, kyokushinkai karate and a multiple winner of French boxing and kickboxing competitions.
Biography
The famous athlete was born in St. Petersburg, in the family of Olga and Anatoly Vorobyov, whose whole life was devoted to karate, in October 1984. From an early age, the girl, like her brother Valery, knew that karate is fate. This is a philosophy, a way of life, a discipline. And she easily accepted such a future for herself.
At the age of six, Lena went to school, and already in the third grade she began classes with the legendary Russian Master of Martial Arts Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Ilmov. During her school years, she managed to win a lot of local championships and take third place in the all-Russian kyokushinkai karate championship. At the end of school, she did not have a painful choice about the future - Elena Vorobyova entered the University of Physical Culture, named after the great Peter Frantsevich Lesgaft.
Career
In 2000, Elena Anatolyevna Vorobyova graduated from the university and returned with new tactics to the Russian Kyokushinkai Karate Championship and took first place there, and the next year she took the 2nd World Cup in this discipline. In 2003, the athlete became the world champion in ashihara karate and continued her career, easily changing wrestling styles and developing completely new techniques.
For the peculiarities of fighting, Elena was nicknamed "Evil Legs". In 2009, the woman received the title of ZMS, and by this time she had already become a world-renowned budo and combat instructor. Soon she started coaching. According to her video lessons, karate is being studied in Japan, as the famous sensei from Tokyo Isamu Fukuda confessed. Her performances continue today, and Elena plans to stay on the tatami for about 15 more years, and then actively engage in the transfer of knowledge.
Personal life and hobbies
In addition to her favorite sport, Elena's life has little time for something else. She studies Japanese, constantly improves her skills, trains children and adolescents, working as an instructor at SPbFOKK. She supervises about 70 students, to whom she conveys the philosophy and worldview of karate. The woman is convinced that these skills educate young people in self-confidence, kindness, leadership, patriotism and responsibility.
Elena Vorobyova has a single tattoo on her shoulder, a symbol denoting that her life belongs to the martial arts. She rests every Sunday, loves a bath and swimming in an ice-hole, is going to continue her education, loves sushi. Nothing is known about Vorobyova's husband or child - the private life of the world famous Master is carefully hidden from prying eyes. The brother and mother of the athlete also train the younger generation.
