Anna Gagikovna Melikyan is a female director of Russian cinema, producer, screenwriter. For her films, she has received awards many times at both Russian and international festivals. Anna was born on February 8, 1976 in Baku (Azerbaijan). Later, her family moved to Armenia, the girl spent her childhood in Yerevan. Anna's parents had nothing to do with creativity. The girl's mother worked as a physics teacher, and her father worked first as the head of a classified arms factory, then as the manager of a carpet factory.
From an early age, Anna had an amazing fantasy. In kindergarten, she enthusiastically played out stories with other children. At school age, the girl often replaced sick teachers. Thanks to her artistry, Melikyan managed to captivate her classmates without any problems.
